About the Practice
Haven Spine + Pain personalizes a treatment plan around a patient’s goals and priorities by creating an integrated approach to pain management. This philosophy focuses on interventional treatment along with physical therapy, behavioral health care, social supports, clinically-proven medications, and self-care techniques. Haven Spine + Pain provides access to care for patients within one week of referral with treatment facilitated by one of their highly skilled chronic pain physicians, Drs. Marc Korn and Zachary Nowak.
Marc Korn, MD
Dr. Korn, Haven Spine + Pain's founding provider, completed his bachelor’s degree at Kalamazoo College before attending Wayne State School of Medicine. Following his residency and fellowship at Northwestern in Chicago, where he became dual board-certified in anesthesia and chronic pain, he began his career in Metro-Detroit in anesthesiology.
Dr. Korn now works with Haven Spine + Pain where he is helping patients relieve pain, restore functionality, and experience their favorite activities.
Zachary Nowak, MD
Dr. Nowak moved from Idaho to Michigan to complete his bachelor's degree at Central Michigan University. After earning his medical degree, he moved to Eastern Michigan to complete his residency at Beaumont in anesthesiology and a fellowship at Detroit Medical Center in interventional pain management.
In the summer of 2022, Dr. Nowak joined the Haven Spine + Pain team to further his passion for creating tailored patient treatment plans based on individualized goals.
